Today Royals

This cover celebrated HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh's Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The cover illustrates the couple as they are today and features the miniature sheet stamps. Buckingham covers produced this cover to the royals, as The Queen notched up 60 years of marriage with HRH Prince Philip. In this day and age, 60 years is a big achievement.

A limited edition of just 650 covers were to celebrate the Golden Prince's 21st birthday and he looks very dapper on the envelope. This cover was created to mark Prince William's 21st birthday. It's been triple postmarked with English, Isle of Man and Jersey stamps and handstamps, each postmarked on the first day of issue.

Railways

This cover celebrates the Classic Locomotives BR WD Austerity. Following on from the Great British Railways issue of 19 August 2010, this is the first of a series of Miniature Sheets that will look at steam locomotives in use in each of the home countries in UK. The intention is to look at how steam locomotives were used not just on the public railway network but also in the context of industry in such locations as factories, quarries and docks. England will commence the series to be followed by Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Concorde

A very special cover for a very special aircraft -

When the men who built Concorde watched her take off for the first time, they already knew they'd created something very special. So it would be no surprise to them today to know that although she's no longer in service, Concorde remains the most talked about, loved and missed aircraft in the world. There are four stamps in total on the cover: a French stamp postmarked in Toulouse on the 2nd March 2009 (where the very first flight took place); a stamp and label from our Concorde 40th anniversary sheet, which is postmarked on 9th April 2009 in Filton (where the first British flight took place) and finally two vintage Concorde stamps from 1969 - one British, one French. These will be cancelled with a special cachet.
